Our commitment to sustainable hospitality
The environment is important to us. This is why we participate in Stay for the Planet, a data hub that supports hospitality facilities in monitoring environmental performance and managing sustainability pathways through the structured collection of quantitative and qualitative data in the following areas: Energy, Water, Waste, Procurement, Behaviours, and People.
We are committed every day to a more sustainable hospitality, through concrete actions:
- we offer local products
- we avoid food waste by making more targeted purchases
- We prefer collaborations with local suppliers or with suppliers who express environmental, social and economic responsibility in their offer
- We set goals to improve our environmental impact with constant monitoring
- We train our staff to use cleaning products in a conscious way, preferring eco-sustainable ones
- We carefully and responsibly separate waste
- We support the community with concrete actions of help and support
- We tell our guests about traditions and culture
Moreover, we promote a careful and responsible tourism and we invite you to explore our territory, both by bicycle and through walks among the vineyards of the hills around us. We bring our guests closer to local products through tastings of local excellence.
A certified commitment
We are proud to announce that, after an ambitious sustainability journey, the Soave Hotel has obtained the GSTC certification, issued by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council: the organization that guides and sets standards for sustainable development in the tourism sector globally.
